Department of Homeland Security adviser Corey Lewandowski confirmed that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents will be present for Bad Bunny’s performance at the Super Bowl LX halftime show.
The Trump adviser told host Benny Johnson during an October 1 appearance on The Benny Show podcast, “There is nowhere you can provide safe haven to people who are in this country illegally.”
“Not the Super Bowl and nowhere else,” he continued. “We will find you and apprehend you and put you in a detention facility and deport you.”
His remarks echo the administration’s stance on deportations as Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has been heard sharing similar threats across radio and TV ads for months.
“If you are here illegally, we will find you and deport you. You will never return,” she has said.

The confirmation comes days after the NFL along with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation announced that Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny would take the stage during the 2026 Super Bowl.
Bad Bunny (real name: Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio) recently explained his decision to skip the United States on his upcoming Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour was because of threats of ICE raids.
“There were many reasons why I didn’t show up in the US, and none of them were out of hate — I’ve performed there many times,” Bad Bunny, 31, told i-D magazine in an interview published September 10. “People from the US could come here to see the show. Latinos and Puerto Ricans of the United States could also travel here, or to any part of the world. But there was the issue that … ICE could be outside [my concert venue]. And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about.”
