Eric Stonestreet reunited with his Modern Family daughter, Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, in an adorable new videos and photos, and fans couldn’t hold back about their excitement.
Stonestreet, 54, took to Instagram on Friday, October 3, to share a video of them mouthing along to a playful audio clip. “You’re so silly,” Stonestreet mouthed along before Anderson-Emmons, 18, responded while nudging him, “No, you’re always silly.”
“No, you’re always silly,” he fired back before pushing her off of her seat. He then looked to the camera and asked, “What’s wrong with me?”
In addition to the playful video, Stonestreet shared two photos of the duo together and a video of them riding in a vehicle in the woods.
“Someone came to Missouri and saw ‘fun daddy,'” Stonestreet captioned the post while tagging Anderson-Emmons and Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who played his husband, Mitchell Pritchett, on Modern Family. Stonestreet appeared on the beloved sitcom as Cam Tucker and Anderson-Emmons played his daughter, Lily.
Shortly after he shared the post, Anderson-Emmons took to the comments section to write, “So good to see u!!”
Meanwhile, several fans also left comments to express their excitement over the reunion. “This makes me so happy,” one person wrote, while another person added, “Awe!! Love this!! Loved the show.”
“I love that you’re still close! Tucker-Pritchett Family FOREVER!” a third social media user chimed in, while another commented, “I’ve never seen a cast that gets along so well after the series is over, you guys are family!!”
Additionally, Tyler Ferguson, 49, also weighed in by jokingly adding, “WHY WASN’T I INVITED? ARE YOU DOING A REBOOT /REUNION/ SPIN OFF WITH OUT ME?!”
Stonestreet shared the post just days after Ferguson took to Instagram to share a photo from a recent reunion with co-stars Julie Bowen and Ed O’Neill. O’Neill, 79, starred on the show as family patriarch Jay Pritchett, and Bowen, 55, portrayed his daughter, Claire Dunphy.
“The Pritchetts Sept 27 2025,” Ferguson captioned the snapshot, which showed the trio laughing as they had their arms around each other.
Stonestreet quickly reacted to the photo by jokingly asking why he wasn’t included in the reunion. “Where is Sofia? Where is Ty? Did he die again!? Where is Arial? Sarah! Rico!? Nolan!?! Aubrey?! Is there drama behind the scenes? Are you all fighting!?” he wrote while listing the show’s other main characters that made up the Pritchett family members. “Do you hate each other now? Wait. Where am I!? Why am I not there!? Did I snub you!? Did you snub me!? There MUST be SOMETHING going on!”
His comment seemingly referenced the cast’s reunion in November 2023, which was attended by everyone but Ty Burrell. After people noticed Burrell, 58, wasn’t at the event, fans were left wondering if he had a falling out with the cast.
However, Burrell confirmed everything was fine with the cast and explained he’s missed some reunion after he moved away from California. “We’ve had a couple of gatherings, but I wasn’t able to make it to a couple of them,” he told People in a March interview. “I live in Utah now, so the logistics have gotten a little bit trickier.”
“But everybody has stayed in touch, and I’m incredibly grateful to know all those people,” he added of his Modern Family co-stars.
