Megan Mullally will perform at Provincetown Town Hall on Nov. 1.
The two-time Emmy Award-winning star of NBC’s “Will & Grace” will be joined by host Judy Gold, an Emmy-winning comedian. The event will raise funds for Sandy Hook Promise, according to a community announcement.
Mullally is best known for her role as Karen Walker in “Will & Grace,” which earned her eight Primetime Emmy Award nominations and two wins. She also received seven consecutive SAG Award nominations, winning three times, and four Golden Globe Award nominations.
Mullally recently co-starred with her husband, Nick Offerman, in Netflix’s “The Umbrella Academy.” She has been a series regular on shows such as “In the Motherhood,” “Party Down,” “Children’s Hospital” and “Breaking In.” Her guest appearances include roles in “Happy Endings,” “Bob’s Burgers,” “Parks and Recreation,” “30 Rock,” “Up All Night,” “Boston Legal,” “The New Adventures of Old Christine” and “The Great North.” Her film credits include “Smashed,” “The Kings of Summer” and “Why Him?”

On Broadway, Mullally has starred in “How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying,” “Grease” and “Young Frankenstein.”
Gold, the host for the evening, has had comedy stand-up specials on HBO, Comedy Central and LOGO. She was also part of Netflix’s “Stand Out: An LGBTQ+ Celebration.”
Gold is the author of “Yes I Can Say That: When They Come For The Comedians, We Are All In Trouble,” a book about free speech and cancel culture. She hosts the podcast “It’s Judy’s Show with Judy Gold” and is featured in Netflix’s “Outstanding: A Comedy Revolution.” Her film work includes “She Came To Me,” “Tripped Up” and “Love Reconsidered.” On television, she has appeared in “City On A Hill,” “Better Things,” “The First Lady” and “Extrapolations.”
Gold has appeared on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and “The Tonight Show.” She won two Emmy awards for writing and producing “The Rosie O’Donnell Show.” Gold has also appeared on “The View,” “The Today Show,” “The Drew Barrymore Show” and on MSNBC, celebrity.land and NewsNation as a free-speech advocate. She has released three albums: “Conduct Unbecoming,” “Kill Me Now” and “Judith’s Roommate Had a Baby.”

Mark Cortale, the producer of the event, recently produced the six-time Tony-nominated musical “Floyd Collins” on Broadway with Lincoln Center Theater, starring Jeremy Jordan. He also produced the play “Table 17” at MCC Theater, which won an Outer Critics’ Circle Award and two Lucille Lortel Awards in May. In 2024, he produced the three-time Tony-nominated musical “Days of Wine and Roses” on Broadway, with music and lyrics by Adam Guettel, a book by Craig Lucas and direction by Michael Greif. Cortale also produced the Drama Desk-nominated Off-Broadway musical “Midnight At The Never Get” by Mark Sonnenblick. In 2020, he founded the developmental theatre lab New Works Provincetown.
