Meghan Markle’s trip to Paris Fashion Week
In Markle’s day-in-the-life Instagram video, she documented her day from her flight going into Paris to touching down and making her way to her bougie hotel, Hôtel Plaza Athénée, on the prestigious Avenue Montaigne.
She passed by the famous Arc de Triomphe monument on her way to her hotel. She was greeted with a gorgeous white bouquet of flowers from Balenciaga and a breakfast spread.
Of course, the mother of two had to give a moment to the insane views of the Eiffel Tower from her hotel room’s balcony. She even had a moment to spare to complete her Duolingo for the day to keep up on her 100-day streak.
Markle was giving French girl energy in her glam squad moment. She included a video of her getting her hair blown out and styled, as well as the red lipsticks she had to choose from and a pre-Fashion show snack of French fries — how fitting!
She even shared a glimpse of a note she received, which said, “Knock em dead… Have the best time xxx”

The Duchess wore a white oversized cape over a button-down shirt and pants of the same color, paired with black pointed-toe heels and a black clutch with a slicked-back bun.
In the video, she was videoed walking through a stunning lobby and out onto the streets, where she was met by paparazzi snapping her pics.
She ended the video with a clip of her embracing the Italian designer Pierpaolo Piccioli at the event.
The following day, Sunday, Oct. 5, Markle donned an edgy black dress with black heels to the Balenciaga Womenswear Spring/Summer 2026 show.

Markle’s spokesperson told People that the Duchess specifically traveled solo from her home in Montecito, California, to attend the Balenciaga show to support Piccioli as he recently became Creative Director for the brand.
“Over the years, the Duchess has worn a number of designs by Pierpaolo. They have worked closely together, collaborating on design for key moments on the world stage,” the spokesperson told People.
Continuing, they added, “She has long admired his craftsmanship and modern elegance, and tonight was no different. This evening reflects the culmination of many years of artistry and friendship, reflected in her support for his new creative chapter at Balenciaga.”
