Mia Goth Wore Dior To The ‘Frankenstein’ LA Premiere

Mia Goth, who wasn’t at the Dior Spring 2026 show during Paris Fashion Week, is one of the house’s newest ambassadors and part of the new generation that debuted Jonathan Anderson’s Dior during the Venice Film Festival—a partnership that began with so much promise.

However, her Dior Spring 2026 black embroidered silk and tulle dress worn to the Los Angeles premiere of Netflix’s Frankenstein on Monday night didn’t capture that same allure.

I’m not opposed to sheer dresses by any means, but this particular one isn’t offering much. In fact, it offers nothing. The combination of delicate lace, a loose A-line shape, and that oversized satin bow gives the whole look an unfortunate Frederick’s of Hollywood undertone. It leans too heavily into boudoir territory, evoking vintage nightwear rather than a genuine red look.

Mia is known for her hauntingly elegant presence—a dark romanticism that perfectly complements her film choices—but this didn’t capture that at all. The embroidery itself is beautiful, and her Tiffany & Co. jewels were lovely, but overall, this Dior outing didn’t do her or the house any favours. Monday night simply wasn’t a winning one for Dior ambassadors.
