“I don’t know how to explain The Housemaid, but we watched it the other night and I haven’t had that much fun in a theater — I don’t know the last time I laughed that much,” she previously said in an interview with Variety in August 2025. “And it was my own movie! I had such a ball making it and playing this wacky nutso character that no one has gotten to really see me do. It’s like a party, that movie. Sklenar stars as Andrew Winchester, Nina’s husband. Fans may recognize him from another blockbuster film adaptation in recent years, as he portrayed Atlas Corrigan in It Ends With Us opposite Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.

Michele Morrone plays Enzo, the sexy groundskeeper with a mysterious past who works for the Winchesters.

Fans couldn’t get enough of the trailer for The Housemaid, with many social media users praising it for not giving away the story and paying close attention to details from the book.
“I’ve read the book, this trailer should win awards for not revealing anything at all, how all trailers should be. This is going to be sooooooo good. Cannot wait!” wrote one YouTuber.
