Jessica gave an emotional update on Instagram, sharing how she feels about winning the NBC series.
Jessica Sanchez just won America’s Got Talent season 20, and she’s now reflecting on what the journey truly means to her.
Fans were reintroduced to Jessica earlier this summer when she auditioned for a spot on the NBC series. After first appearing on season 1 of the show and later placing runner-up on American Idol season 11, folks were enamored with her incredible vocals week after week. And to top it all off, Jessica won over audiences in-person and at home as she gave it her all while weeks away from giving birth to her first child!
Now that AGT has finished airing and Jessica is back at home, she has time to express her feelings about the season. As she shared her first update since winning, she told fans how thankful she was they stood by her throughout the competition.
“It’s officially been a week since the results show of @agt,” she wrote on Instagram on October 2. “It’s truly setting in … being back home & now preparing for my daughter’s arrival. This is more than I could’ve ever asked for.”
“Seeing all of your messages, comments & reactions to this moment has made it so much more special,” she added. “I have so much love for every single one of you & I can’t thank you enough.”
When fans saw Jessica’s heartfelt message about winning America’s Got Talent season 20, they all bombarded her with their own words of support.
“You and your journey are SUCH an inspiration. Have been following you since the beginning. Can’t wait to see what is next for you,” one person wrote in the comments. “You’re amazing! So happy for you! 🥹🫶🏼,” another exclaimed. “Congrats Jessica you deserve this ❤️,” a different follower added.
We can’t help but get emotional seeing Jessica’s latest note! And while we don’t know if Jessica has given birth yet, she did reveal what she plans on naming her daughter once she’s born.
“To my family, my friends, and every single person who has supported me through the highs and the lows,” she wrote just hours after winning AGT season 20 on Instagram. “Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You’ve reminded me why I sing, why I share my soul through music, and why this dream was worth holding onto… And to my baby girl, Eliana Mae … Mama did it. We did it. 💕.”
