After lasting only four weeks in the competition, Hilaria Baldwin’s Dancing With The Stars journey has come to an emotional end — and it’s stirring up old wounds.
After her elimination on Tuesday, October 7, the mom of seven made a tearful confession. “I closed the door on dance a long time ago,” Baldwin told Entertainment Weekly in a clip she reshared to her Instagram. “And opening it up has been painful. Maybe I’ll close the door again.”
That pain is seemingly twofold for Alec Baldwin’s wife, 41, who once danced in ballroom competitions during her younger years. Back then, she was sidelined after suffering a hip injury.
“Broke my hip when I was 25 and couldn’t walk well for the better part of a year,” she shared in a recent Instagram post. “You can see the scar on the outside of my hip. It took me years to recover and to be quite honest, it will never be the same.”

During her final spin on the dancefloor, the yoga instructor and her partner, pro dancer Gleb Savchenko, managed to score high praise from judges, but ultimately failed to impress viewers with their quickstep.
Despite her teary exit, Baldwin reportedly stirred up tension backstage during her brief stint. As Star reported, a source told The U.S. Sun that she requested a private mirrored studio for rehearsals to “focus on her aura” and banned fluorescent lighting in her dressing room for a softer atmosphere.
