Kate Middleton continued her royal power suiting streak in a coordinated look by Victoria Beckham for her visit to Home-Start Oxford in England on Thursday.
The British royal family member went green in a mostly monochrome sartorial statement with warm tones of gold to accentuate her attire. The focal point of the Princess of Wales‘ look was the coordinated trousers and jacket by Victoria Beckham.

Middleton wore the patch pocket jacket in willow green along with the Alina trousers in the same shade by the British designer and former Spice Girls member. The suit was further accentuated by the shirt Middleton wore beneath her jacket, tying the green tonal motif of the look together.
As for other elements of her attire, the Princess of Wales wore a pair of Ralph Lauren pointed toe pumps for a neutral addition to her look. Accessories included a pendant necklace from Daniella Draper and amethyst pear drop earrings by Kiki McDonough, both of whom hail from the U.K.
Middleton has been on a power suiting streak as far as her daytime royal engagements are concerned. No stranger to suited styling, the Princess of Wales previously wore a Bell Freud suit on two separate occasions in October and September. The suit, crafted by the eponymous British designer, featured the Prince of Wales check, popularized in the early 20th century with longevity extending to today.
The British royal has an extensive suit collection, and often favors a monochromatic approach to her attire, save for instances of neutral color blocking. Middleton has worn suited looks by such designers as Roland Mouret and Burberry in the past, among others.
As with many contemporary royal trends, the royal power suit can be traced back to Princess Diana’s own popularization of menswear. The royal memorably wore a Catherine Walker suit with a Hackett waistcoat at an event in April 1988 and went on to toy with fashion conventions as a modern royal.
Decades later, royal women like Princess Diana’s daughter-in-law Kate Middleton, Spanish royal Queen Letizia and more have styled power suits akin to the late British royal’s wardrobe selections.
