NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — For the first time ever, the “Biggest Rock Band on Earth” will not only be in America but in the Crescent City.
The global collective, Rockin’ 1000, consisting of 1,000 musicians, will be performing together for the concert of their lives, according to officials with New Orleans & Company.
The one-night event is set to take place at the Caesars Superdome on Jan. 31, 2026 and will include guitarists, bassists, drummers, keyboardists. Additionally, a horn section featuring trumpets, saxophones and trombones, will pay tribute to New Orleans.

New Orleans & Company officials say the musicians “will all take the stage together, to unleash a wall of sound in unison, unlike anything the U.S. has ever seen: live, loud, and in perfect sync.”

The event began in 2015 originally in Zaffagnini’s small Italian town, where 1,000 musicians performed a tribute to the Foo Fighters. It has since grown to more than 100,000 musicians united by passion to “create something extraordinary through the power of collective energy.”

In its 10 year run, so far, Rockin’ 1000 has filled stadiums in 20 countries, sold more than 300,000 tickets and received hundreds of millions of views online.
The event is said to be a “once-in-a-lifetime experiences for band members and audiences alike.”
