Meghan Markle’s eagle-eyed social media fans have noticed a major mistake in her kitchen.
In an effort to promote new products on her new lifestyle site, As Ever, the Duchess of Sussex shared photos from inside her kitchen.
Images show her lifting a mason jar from a pot of hot water, as part of a homemade canning process, following fans calling Markle ‘tone def’ after a Paris Fashion Week appearance.
Her viewers quickly pointed out what looked like an amateur error, as she appeared to be using the jar lifter the wrong way.
“She’s using the jar lifter wrong,” one comment read. “I’ve been canning for years. That’s not how you do it.”
As Ever released a limited restock of Markle’s orange marmalade and apricot jam, plus a new white wine.
The moment follows Markle’s recent stumble at Paris Fashion Week.
A viral clip showed the Duchess appearing to giggle when a model fell on the Balenciaga runway.
She later tried making small talk with actress Dame Kristin Scott Thomas, who seemed to turn away from Markle.
In another awkward moment, Markle accidentally bumped heads with designer Pierpaolo Piccioli while greeting him.
Markle was also criticized for her Instagram story showing her feet resting on the seat of a minivan.
The clip was filmed while she was traveling through the Pont de l’Alma tunnel in Paris, the same site where Princess Diana died in 1997.
