In a conversation with Tatler magazine, the actor spoke about her career, professional achievements, motherhood journey, and life with her husband.
One of Kidman’s prominent roles is that of Celeste Wright, a lawyer and mother stuck in a toxic relationship in the series “Big Little Lies.” The magazine asked her if she had ever experienced in real life what Celeste went through in the series. To this, Kidman took a pause, and said, “Listen, my art – I don’t really see it about me… I see it as a conduit for a spectrum of ideas, so, you know, that’s way too personal.”
She then expressed that she works artistically from “emotion,” admitting it’s not always good. The actor then further revealed that she was always called an “intense child” by her mother, which hasn’t quite changed even when she grew up.
Talking about Urban, she said, “‘I’ve got a good husband who is really, really good to talk to. He’s artistic, so he gets it. I’m not coming home to someone who just doesn’t understand. And he’s a good buffer.”
