Keith Urban’s guitarist is singing about “fighting feelings” in the midst of his divorce with Nicole Kidman.
It’s been less than two weeks since the Babygirl actress, 58, filed for divorce from the country singer, 57, after 19 years of marriage.
The ex-couple’s inner circle claim another woman was in the picture and since Keith changed romantic lyrics to include the name of his 25-year-old guitarist Maggie Baugh, many fans believe she was the one involved in their undoing. The allegations are only growing, especially now that Maggie has released a cryptic snippet of her new song.
On Thursday, Oct. 9, the musician took to Instagram to share a clip of her singing a few lyrics of her newly released song The Devil Win.
The song says, “I don’t know what the hell I believe in / I don’t know how to heal my soul / Or how to fight this feeling and it’s a damn good place to go.”
“No matter how close I get to the burning edge / Tempting as it is, I won’t let the Devil win,” she also sang.
A few fans picked up on the “terrific and crazy timing” of the song’s release.
Maggie’s name has been mentioned amid Keith and Nicole’s divorce ever since videos resurfaced showing flirty on-stage moments between her and the country singer.
One clip was taken from just a couple months ago when Keith and his band performed his hit 2016 single The Fighter. As he sang the lyrics, “I was born to love you,” he looked and pointed at Maggie.
While singing the same song during a more recent performance, Keith changed lyrics “When they’re tryna get to you, baby, I’ll be the fighter” to “When they’re tryna get to you, Maggie, I’ll be your guitar player.”
Maggie posted the video of the live lyric change on her Instagram and captioned it, “Did he just say that?”

While the guitarist hasn’t spoken out on the allegations, her father Chuck has.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, he said, “I don’t know anything about it, other than she’s a guitar player for him.
“It’s more of a musician thing than a dating thing,” he added.
Maggie and Keith started working together last year when he invited her to play with him at the CMT Awards.
He then invited her to join him on the road for his High and Alive World Tour.
