Cane (Billy Flynn) has been a well-known con artist for some time. This isn’t the first time he’s lied and manipulated people. But this is the first time that he’s disguised himself as the elusive Aristotle Dumas.

Aristotle was a billionaire who was hidden away in Nice. He amassed his fortune by acquiring properties from others. Now, he wants to make more money by stealing from other people’s companies.

It’s the same old con for Cane. Rather than setting out to achieve success on his own, he believes he can benefit from the successes of others.

Yes, that makes him nefarious. However, he’s not the only bad person in Genoa City. Victor (Eric Braeden), for instance, has done the same. He most recently stole Jabot away from the Abbotts.

Jack (Peter Bergman) isn’t any better. He’s trying to convince Jill (Jess Walton) to hand over Cane’s A.I. software to him so it can get destroyed. But, secretly, he wants to use it to acquire Newman Enterprises. (Did Diane convince Jack to go to the dark side on The Young and the Restless?)

What’s Cane Going To Do Next?

In the meantime, Cane wants to rehab his image. His family has been on his mind a lot lately. Cane’s kids won’t talk to him after they learned that he’s a billionaire.

This could be a losing battle for Cane. However, this business move doesn’t make him worse than Jack or Victor, who would likely do the same and have done far worse in the past.
