Diane Keaton displayed her love for her cherished pets in the last social media post she published before her stunning death.
The legendary Hollywood actress passed away on Saturday, with a representative announcing the news in a brief statement.
As admirers across the globe grieve the Academy Award-winning star, who was 79 when she died, they have been turning to social media to express their disbelief and heartbreak.
Countless fans have rushed to Instagram to post tribute messages on Diane’s last post, where she appeared smiling next to her pet Labrador.
In a post shared with the retail brand Hudson Grace, the message read: “Proof our pets have great taste too! Happy National Pet Day from HG and @diane_keaton. #nationalpetday.”

The actress rocketed to stardom in the 1970s through her portrayal of Kay Adams in The Godfather trilogy, alongside her creative partnerships with Woody Allen.
She secured an Oscar for Allen’s groundbreaking film Annie Hall and became synonymous with the title character’s masculine-inspired fashion choices.
