Ageline Jolie filed for divorce from her former husband, Brad Pitt, in September 2016, after two years of marriage. Before that, the exes were together for more than a decade. The former husband and wife finally got divorced in 2024. However, they are still immersed in an ongoing dispute over their French estate and vineyard, Château Miraval. The exes reportedly bought the 1,200-acre property in 2008.
In 2022, Pitt, reportedly, claimed that the actress sold her stake in the South of France vineyard without his approval. But Jolie denied the allegation, stating that she and her six children have not gone back to the property since their separation.
According to the lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court on October 6, the 50-year-old star mentioned, “To this day, the children and I have never again set foot on the property, given its connection to the painful events leading to the divorce.” Jolie and Pitt are parents to 6 children — Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne.
She even wrote, “The events leading to my need to separate were emotionally difficult for me and our children.” Confirming the same, an insider told #ShuterScoop that the actress is “done with it.” “That house is a wound she doesn’t need reopened.”
This is not the first time that the actress or her lawyer has refuted the allegations. In 2024, as per PEOPLE, even then her lawyers stated that since the filing, ”neither Jolie nor any of the children have ever set foot back in Miraval, which was their home until then.”
