Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau’s summer fling has survived the test of time and transformed into a fall romance. The couple confirmed they are still going strong as they were photographed kissing passionately aboard the singer’s yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara, California, a couple of weeks ago.
In newly-published photos (which you can see here), the two are seen hugging and sharing kisses on the upper deck of Perry’s Caravelle. The “Last Friday Night” singer wore a blue one-piece swimsuit and a messy high bun, while the former Canadian prime minister was shirtless and wore only some classic blue jeans.
The pair’s romantic yacht date comes after the two sparked dating rumors in July, when they were seen having an intimate dinner in Montreal (see the photos here), and days later, Trudeau was filmed dancing solo at Perry’s concert in the same Canadian city.
A video shared by a fan on X showed the politician swaying enthusiastically and singing the words to hits including “Firework” and “Dark Horse” as Perry performed them onstage. A true—and very smitten—fan.
Perry and Trudeau first got together a few weeks after the pop star split from her longtime partner and father of her child, actor Orlando Bloom; and two years after Trudeau announced his separation from wife-of-18-years Sophie Grégoire Trudeau.
The two have not publicly commented on their relationship—but then again, a picture is worth a thousand words.
