Tim Markowski of Twin Records in Neptune City is thinking about intercepting the UPS truck Monday morning.
Jeff Lega, over at Jack’s Music in Red Bank, is planning an elaborate system to funnel customers in and out of the store as expeditiously as possible.
And Barry Nash, of Camelot Music in the Ocean County Mall figures he won’t even have time to slap on a price tag.
Bruce is coming Monday to record shops and music stores near you.
The long awaited “Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band Live/1975-85” album, cassette and compact disc — bearing prices ranging from $21 to $35 — is expected to hit the stores about noon Monday.
Bruce Springsteen fans are anticipating buying the Boss’ new ‘Live’ collection.
Record store owners say that’s when Columbia Records has promised delivery, and they add they’ll be keeping a keen eye out Monday morning for the brown delivery trucks bringing Bruce et al to the eager hordes.
“I don’t even thing I’ll have a chance to price tag it,” Nash said. “We’re not going to close the store down,” Lega said, but we have to count them and price them, so we’ll have somebody at the back door pushing them through that way.”
