TV Azteca launched its new reality competition series La Granja VIP, which streams 24/7 in México on Disney+.
This format is Azteca’s answer to TelevisaUnivision’s La Casa de los Famosos México, which recently wrapped its third season, crowning Aldo de Nigris as the winner.

La Granja VIP, produced by Fremantle, brings a group of celebrities together on a farm under 24/7 surveillance, where they will face challenges like milking a cow, growing crops, and other agricultural activities. Each week, the farmers will nominate each other, and the viewing public has a say in who goes and who stays in the competition.
Leading up to its premiere in México, TV Azteca released the names of 11 contestants who would be participating in the show: Manola Díez, Kim Shantal, Lis Vega, Alfredo Adame, Alberto del Río, Kike Mayagoitia, Jawy Méndez, Carolina Ross, Omahi, César Dorante, and Sandra Itzel.
On launch night, six more names were revealed, rounding out the cast of 16. The rest of the cast includes Lolita Córtes, Sergio Mayer Mori, Eleazar Gómez, La Bea, and Fabiola Campomanes.

Adal Ramones hosts La Granja VIP, with Kristal Silva as co-host. They are both joined by a group of critics, including Flor Rubio, Rey Grupero, Ferka, and Ventaneando’s Linet Puente.
La Granja VIP is set to run for 10 weeks, with its finale slated for December 21. The show airs nightly on TV Azteca’s Azteca Uno at 8 p.m. and streams on Disney+.
