Kim Kardashian is facing backlash after admitting she doesn’t know how much a carton of milk costs.
During her appearance on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast, the SKIMS founder, 44, was asked about her spending habits, including how much she shells out for glam each year.
“Well, a lot,” Kardashian replied on the October 15 episode. “If I’m filming my show then they pay for it, if I’m working then they pay for it.”
“I don’t have a concept of what certain simple things cost,” she admitted. “I’d like to know a little bit more about what, like, a milk carton costs.”
When Cooper asked if her beauty budget hits six or seven figures per year, Kardashian quipped, “It could be a million dollars. This hair isn’t cheap.”
Her comments quickly went viral, with many online calling her unrelatable.
“I can’t believe she doesnt know the price of a carton of milk! so out of touch,” one Reddit user wrote.
“Kim acting like she doesn’t know what things cost,” a Tik Tok user commented, with an eye roll emoji.
“I need to be on this level of ignorant,” another TikToker commented.
Kardashian has faced her fair share of scrutiny and is known to take it in stride. Elsewhere in the episode, the star also opened up about co-parenting with her ex-husband Kanye West, with whom she shares four children: North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6.
“I raise the kids, you know, full-time,” she revealed. “They live with me, and I welcome a great, healthy relationship with my kids and their dad. And I think, you know, he knows that.”
She added that she encourages her children to spend time with West “all the time,” but also knows when to step in to “protect” them.
The reality star also revealed when the “Gold Digger” hitmaker last contacted her and their children.
“It’s probably been a couple months since we’ve heard from him,” she confessed.
