Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise has split from his actress girlfriend Ana de Armas after less than nine months together.
The Mission: Impossible actor, 63, was first linked to the Cuban beauty, 37, in February and they went public with their romance in the spring.
But The Sun can exclusively reveal they recently decided to call time on their relationship.
A source close to the pair said: “Tom and Ana had a good time together but their time as a couple has run its course.
“They are going to remain good friends but they aren’t dating anymore.
“They just realised they weren’t going to go the distance and that they are better off as mates.
“The spark had gone between them but they still love each other’s company and they’ve both been really adult about it.
“She’s already been cast in his next film, so they will continue to work together.”
The A-list pair were seen on a string of dates earlier this year before confirming they were an item when they held hands during a break in Vermont, US.
In April they beamed in a selfie and celebrated her 37th birthday describing it as “a fun night out on the town”.
Ana was Tom’s date to David Beckham’s 50th birthday party in May.
This summer they went to an Oasis concert at London’s Wembley Stadium, and took a trip to Spain where they were seen on a yacht.
They are due to star together in supernatural thriller Deeper, and were seen in London rehearsing for their roles.
But the film has reportedly been put on hold.
The Sun told earlier this year how they are also planning on working with each other on a movie with the working title Pressure.
Ana previously played CIA agent Paloma in 2021 Bond film No Time to Die, as well as starring in 2019’s Knives Out, the Blade Runner sequel and as actress Marilyn Monroe in drama Blonde.
She was married to Spanish actor and model Marc Clotet from 2011 to 2013.
She dated Ben Affleck for ten months in 2020 after meeting on the set of thriller Deep Water.
Tom was married to Mimi Rogers from 1987-90, Nicole Kidman from 1990-2001 and Katie Holmes from 2006-12.
