Gwyneth Paltrow opted not to participate in Amy Odell’s Gwyneth: The Biography, but she has finally voiced her opinion on the book — and its author.
“My husband [Brad Falchuk] flicked through it, just because I was like: ‘What is in this?’” Paltrow, 53, said during a British Vogue interview published Wednesday, October 15, admitting she has not read the work. “He said, ‘It’s as if somebody put in a prompt in ChatGPT and said: Mine every Daily Mail article and write a biography about Gwyneth Paltrow.’”
The Shallow Hal star claimed Odell “totally missed everything, the truth of who I am, what my impact is.”
Explaining Falchuck described the book as “just bad” and “really badly written,” Paltrow continued: “It was all rubbish, the things that I supposedly said.”
Odell published Gwyneth: The Biography earlier this year, in which she addressed concerns about a toxic work environment at Paltrow’s company, Goop.

Paltrow — who likened Odell to a “hack” in the interview — responded to the claims, telling British Vogue, “That drives me insane because we have never had that,” despite acknowledging the company had “a couple toxic people.”
“I totally take responsibility for that,” she added. “But we are such a good culture. We are. It’s something that I am so proud of and worked so hard on.”
As National Enquirer previously reported, the Shakespeare in Love star “warned” her friends not to speak to Odell “when she got wind” of the book.
“Gwyneth is ready to cut loose anyone who betrayed her,” a source said in August.
