The Jaguar Players, Danville Area Community College’s theater group, presents ‘School of Rock’ this weekend at the Bremer Conference Center Theater, 2000 E. Main St. The musical, with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and book by Julian Fellowes and based on the hit 2003 movie starring Jack Black, follows Dewey Finn, a failed wannabe rock star who decides to earn an extra bit of cash by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school and turns a class of straight-A pupils into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band.
