After a long wait, Blackpink is finally reuniting as a full group to prepare for their much-anticipated comeback. The members are set to begin filming the music video for their new single this week, signaling their return to group activities.
YG Entertainment confirmed the news on October 20, saying, “Blackpink will start filming the music video for their new song this week. Both the members and the staff are doing their utmost to deliver the best possible result.”
The agency added, “The album is in its final stages to enhance its musical quality. Once preparations are complete, we will share the good news through official promotions.”
If released this year, the upcoming record will mark Blackpink’s first group album in three years since their second full-length album Born Pink in 2022.
Meanwhile, Blackpink has been meeting fans worldwide through their latest world tour Deadline, which kicked off in Goyang last July. After completing stadium concerts across North America and Europe, the group launched the Asia leg of the tour in Taiwan on October 18.
