Virginia Giuffre’s ghostwriter has called on Prince Andrew to aid in exposing the abusers associated with Jeffrey Epstein, stating she has “no doubts” about the allegations presented in her book.
Giuffre’s posthumous book levels a series of explosive accusations against Prince Andrew, following her previous assertion that she had sexual relations with the prince when she was 17 in 2001.
She alleges that she miscarried after supposedly partaking in an orgy with Prince Andrew and eight other girls while pregnant, and claimed that the Royal believed having sex with her “was his birthright.” Prince Andrew denies all allegations.
In a conversation with ITV News correspondent Robert Moore, aired on Good Morning Britain, Giuffre’s ghostwriter Amy Wallace expressed her certainty about the claims made in the book. “I have no doubt,” she stated.
“I’ve been a journalist for 30 years. I’ve worked at magazines, newspapers. I understand fact-checking. We had a professional fact checker go over this after my own meticulous research. I have no doubt of what we have assert in this book.”
She also encouraged Prince Andrew to offer information about abusers who were involved with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. “He was in the houses, he was on the jets, he was on the island and he could come forward and help investigate it,” she said.
“Remember, he said at one point that he was perfectly willing to do so but that help never materialized,” the author noted, expressing her desire for King Charles to read her book.
“My sense of King Charles is that he’s always been a decent man,” she added. “Virginia’s hope was to really help other victims of abuse but yes, this cause needs more people speaking out and it needs men speaking out.
“He would be a prominent man, saying, ‘This is an outrage.’ He has granddaughters. Men need to play a role in this as well.”
In recent developments, Prince Andrew has relinquished his Duke of York title amidst the scandal. In a statement announcing his withdrawal from public life, the Royal stated: “With His Majesty’s agreement, we feel I must now go a step further.
“I will therefore no longer use my title or the honors which have been conferred upon me. I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first.
“Earlier this week, The Mirror disclosed that he was instructed to renounce his titles during a brief call with the ‘weary’ King, with a source revealing that Andrew was advised ‘to do the right thing.”
They added: “He was told it was beyond comprehension for him to continue to enjoy the privileges of his position.
“Virginia Giuffre’s family hailed it as “a victory for Virginia” and even called on the King to strip him of his prince title.
Giuffre passed away in April at the age of 41.
