Celebrating 50 years of music, the upcoming performances mark the first Rush tour for bassist, keyboardist and lead vocalist Geddy Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson since the death of drummer Neil Peart in 2020 from glioblastoma. The band last toured in 2015 for its 40th anniversary.
The duo will be joined by Anika Nilles, a German drummer who toured with the late Jeff Beck.
“Our fans are the best! Thanks to your incredible support – the Rush ‘Fifty Something’ tour is now doing 50-something shows,” reads a statement from the band on its website regarding the added tour dates.
Citi card members will have first access to the shows starting on Friday at noon. An artist presale will take place Oct. 27 at noon. Remaining tickets will be available to the general public on Oct. 31 at noon.
