Khloé Kardashian is showing grace to Savannah Guthrie after the Today anchor publicly expressed regret for a question she asked her more than a decade ago.
On Tuesday, October 21, E! News’ @kardskatchup’s Instagram page posted about on Guthrie’s admission that she still feels “so embarrassed” for asking the Kardashians star, 41, about long-running rumors surrounding her biological father on live TV in 2012.
“It takes a big person to take accountability and I just love her,” the Good American founder responded in the comment section.
Guthrie, now 53, recalled on the Monday, October 20 episode of Today that she was new to the anchor chair at the time and felt “pressure” from producers to ask the dishy question. Despite her discomfort, she went through with it.
At the time, Kardashian brushed off the query with a laugh, quipping, “I don’t know who my daddy is, I guess.”
But, per E!, Kardashian has since defended her late father, Robert, from speculation, telling fans during a 2016 episode of her former show Kocktails with Khloé that she refuses to let anyone “talk about my dad.”
