Bella Hadid responded to a fan who questioned why she was “struggling” to walk during the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
A week ago, a TikTok user questioned “what the f–k wrong” with the model during the show. The netizen claimed she looked like she was going “to cry the whole show,” demanding to know what they had to do to make her feel better.
“Who we gotta pull up on?” the fan further questioned, which elicited a response from the 29-year-old.
“Girl, I got my period that morning and my stamina is not up yet after the whole hospital sitch,” Hadid responded personally, referring to her recent Lyme disease flare-up that landed her in the hospital.
“But I tried my best and I LOVEEEE you for this,” she added. “I’m OK, I swear 😭😭😭😭 I’m sorry if I let u (sic) down😭😭 Love you I mean it 🥹💕‼️‼️‼”
The user was shocked to see the Victoria’s Secret Angel’s candid response, replying, “BELLA HADID — WHAT ARE YOU DOING HEREEEEE?????”
Hadid first sparked fan concern when she hit the lingerie giant’s runway in New York City on Oct. 15.
While the IMG model initially made a confident appearance in a devilish red lingerie set, she noticeably looked downcast as she closed out the show in a silver outfit and matching angel wings.
Hadid boldly strutted down the runway until slowing down at the very end and holding onto the straps of her wings.
At the time, several fans commented on her appearance, with one writing via TikTok comments, “She was struggling.”
“I thought she was gonna fall,” another agreed.
The Orebella perfume creator responded to the concern in a since-deleted Instagram Story, writing, “OK (sic) we’re not going to pretend these wings weren’t 50 pounds but HOW BEAUTIFUL.”
Bella returned to work after her mom, Yolanda Hadid, shared she was hospitalized due to her ongoing Lyme disease battle in vulnerable Instagram photos last month.
The snaps showed Bella — who received her diagnosis in 2013 — in a hospital bed with an IV attached to her arm.
At the time, Bella also shared a few bedside photos, apologizing to fans for being “MIA.”
