Kris Jenner is revealing the main reason why she decided to put her family’s iconic L.A. home up for sale.
During the season 7 premiere of Hulu’s The Kardashians, the Kardashian-Jenner family matriarch, 69, and her daughters reflect on the Los Angeles abode that served as the backdrop for many memorable moments on their original reality series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
The scene begins with Kendall Jenner, 29, riding over to her former home on her horse to meet sister Khloé Kardashian, 41, and their mom. It then cuts to Kris saying it’s time to “move on” and “let go” of the property, and she later reveals her motivation for the sale in a frank, one-word answer.
“Cash. I mean, is that a question?” she quips during the Oct. 23 premiere.

During the visit, Khloé shares that it’s “really bittersweet” to be in the house as it’s where she got engaged to her ex-husband Lamar Odom, and where she announced she was pregnant with her daughter True, whom she shares with ex Tristan Thompson.
She adds, “Those black-and-white floors will always be, dare I say, iconic.”
Kendall, who says her room was turned into a closet, then reflects on her own time in the house and brings up a milestone of hers she believed happened there.
“I lost my virginity in that room,” she says, before Khloé jumps in to correct her that it was actually at the boy’s house. Kendall adds she has no issue being candid about the topic despite her mom being there.
“We’re children number 5 and 6,” she says, referring to herself and sister Kylie, 28. “[Kris] just — she has no more energy for us.”

Later in the scene, Kris says she wants to host one more gathering at the house: “I just think it would be great to have one last supper.”
While Kendall and Khloé are very into the idea, Khloé complains that it will be difficult to coordinate with the whole family because “nobody gives a f—” and everyone’s too busy to see each other.
“I’m married, I have a boyfriend, I have a shoot tomorrow, I’m in another country… It’s super obnoxious,” she says.

Kris first listed the 8,860-square-foot property for $13.5 million in February 2025, and the home still appears to be on the market, according to property records. It’s located in the Hidden Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles and features six bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
According to property records, she purchased the home in 2010 for $4 million and reportedly spent millions renovating it over the years, per the New York Times.

In April 2025, Kylie returned to the home to “say goodbye” with Kendall and gave her Instagram followers a nostalgic tour inside the property.
“Saying goodbye to my bathroom growing up,” Kylie said as she filmed the black bathroom. “‘Cause we’re selling our house.”
After sharing snaps of the mansion’s famous grand staircases, she noted how she has “so many beautiful memories” growing up in the home.
Longtime fans of the family’s original E! series — which ran for 20 seasons from 2007 to 2021 — will recognize the lavish home as the space where a number of dramatic and heartfelt scenes unfolded between Kris and her six children: Khloé, Kendall, Kylie, Kourtney Kardashian, 46, Kim Kardashian, 45, and Rob Kardashian, 38.
