When Joanne (Kristen Bell) and Rabbi Noah (Adam Brody) returned for season two, they brought with them an even more ambitious musical accompaniment that’s already generating buzz.
Season two’s soundtrack features an all-star lineup of 19 songs from artists including Selena Gomez, Teddy Swims, Kacey Musgraves, Chris Stapleton, FINNEAS, and Portugal. The Man, marking a significant departure from the first season’s approach. The Core Entertainment CEO Simon Tikhman — who also happens to be series creator Erin Foster’s husband — assembled the soundtrack alongside Interscope Records, while the music supervision was led by Aperture Music’s Manish Raval, Tom Wolfe, and Jonathan Leahy, the same team responsible for the first season’s Emmy-nominated musical choices.

‘The fact that we were able to put together a one-of-a-kind soundtrack with incredible artists speaks to the success of the first season,’ Tikhman said in a statement, per The Hollywood Reporter. ‘I wanted the music to reflect the same mix of honesty, sharpness, and heart that Erin brings to the story, while also creating a soundtrack that can stand on its own. I’m deeply invested in this project — and, of course, in its creator — which made getting the music right all the more meaningful.’
