KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Even though the Kansas City Royals didn’t make the playoffs this year, the team will be represented at the World Series.
Royals first baseman Vinnie Pasquantino was announced as one of three players to serve as correspondents for the World Series.

The MLB announced that Pasquantino will be the correspondent for Media Day and Game 1 in Toronto.
While he is there, he will make content for the MLB’s social channels, provide behind-the-scenes access to the game and participate in social media takeovers.
Known for showcasing his humor, “The Pasquatch’s” personality will be on full display as he interviews friends, players and celebrities, appears on MLB Network and shares his insights on the matchup between the Dodgers and Blue Jays.
In 2025, Pasquantino posted career-best numbers with 164 hits, 33 doubles, 32 home runs, and 113 RBIs, joining an exclusive group of just eight players in Royals history to notch at least 30 home runs and 30 doubles in a single season.

Athletics outfielder Lawrence Butler and Rays third baseman Junior Caminero will also be correspondents during the series.
The Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays play the first World Series game on FOX4 at 7 p.m. on Friday.
