But the calendar also includes lots of events that have nothing to do with Halloween, including two comedy shows and two events aimed at men. Here are details:
Fluffy on tour
8 p.m. Saturday, Intrust Bank Arena, 500 E. Waterman
Comedian Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias is bringing his “The 1976 Tour: A Fluffy Celebration” to Wichita’s Intrust Bank Arena on Saturday night. Iglesias, who has been doing stand-up comedy since 1997 and has more than 2 billion views on YouTube, will perform starting at 8 p.m. Tickets are $19-$93 at www.selectaseat.com, by phone at 316-755-7328 or in person at the Select-a-Seat box office inside Intrust Bank Arena.
Nurse Blake comedy
8 p.m. Friday, Crown Uptown Theatre, 3207 E. Douglas
Wichita’s Crown Uptown Theatre will be the site on Friday of another stand-up comedy show. Nurse Blake, a nurse and a touring comedian who is popular in the healthcare community, is bringing his “But Did you Die?” tour to the theater. The show starts at 8 p.m., and doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $41-$51 and available at ticketmaster.com. The show is open to ages 18 and over.
Toy Train Show
9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, Cessna Activity Center, 2744 George Washington Blvd.
Toy train enthusiasts will be able to buy, sell and trade trains at more than 100 tables and also check out several different operating train sets at this weekend’s 31st Annual Wichita Train Show. It lasts from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday at Cessna Activity Center. Admission is $8, free for 12 and under with a paid adult. Early Dia De Los Muertos celebration
Noon-8 p.m. Sunday, Botanica, 701 Amidon
Dia De Los Muertos is on Nov. 1, but Botanica will be celebrating it a week early. Its Dia De Los Muertos event will run from noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday on the venue’s Grand Lawn and will feature live music by Mariachi Los Reyes, dancing by ballet folklorico troupe Raices De Mi Tierra, and activities like sugar skull coloring and papel picado making. Food vendors also will be there selling Mexican fare. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, members of the military and children ages 3 to 11. Admission is free for ages 2 and under. Men doing men stuff

Calling all men who just want to be guys: Park City Arena will be home this weekend to an event called The Man Show Expo, which will feature showcases and demonstrations on topics such as hunting, fishing, cars, video games, sports and outdoorsmanship. The event also will include information about grooming, fashion and fitness. The event will last from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday at Park City Arena, 8151 N. Hartman Arena Drive in Park City. General admission tickets are $20, and VIP tickets, which include lounge access, a private bar, catered food, cigars and drinks, are $83. A two-day pass is $38. Kansas Brew Games

An event called Kansas Brew Games is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday at Century II’s Exhibition Hall. It will feature contests and activities like beer pong, arm wrestling, corn hole, pool and mechanical bull riding, and there will also be a longest-beer contest. The event will include beer from local breweries, music and vendors. General admission tickets are $23.75 and include access to five games and one raffle ticket. A VIP party package, which is $45.90, includes a tasting pass, unlimited game access, a sampler stein, 10 raffle tickets and skip-the-line privileges.
