Gig City Music Group Unites Chattanooga Area Musicians
Mr. Kelly, who is a long-time musician and entrepreneur, says this community is designed to unveil opportunities for musical talent and connect artists to the local business and event planners in search of them. His goal is to restore Chattanooga’s musical glory by empowering the numerous musicians, songwriters, and bands that call the Tennessee Valley home.
“The community we’re creating is not just about filling a calendar with gigs; it’s about filling lives with purpose, creativity, and connection,” Mr. Kelly said.
The organization’s website features a local music event calendar, featured musician articles, a business directory, and a monthly newsletter. Additionally, GCMG members enjoy connection and collaboration through the official Facebook Group and monthly courses aimed at developing a professional music career.
“I believe that at its core, Gig City Music Group exists to make music scenes flourish. But more than that, it exists to make musicians flourish—not just in their craft, but in their careers, their communities, and their lives.”
