No one does fall dressing quite like Jennifer Lawrence. The queen of chunky jewelry, statement coats, and pops of red always manages to effuse an effortless New Yorker cool every time bundling season rolls around, and with her latest street-style look, she turned to a few of her favorite styling tricks, while making a small wink to her home city.
As she took a break from promoting her new drama film Die, My Love, Lawrence was seen hanging out with her parents in the Big Apple, where she wore another one of her masterfully-layered fits.
Only a few weeks into fall, the Oscar winner has seemingly decided that large, flowing scarves will be her go-to accessory, and for this latest outing, she incorporated one in, what else, but red.
Of course, whenever she’s not incorporating some form of crimson, the Oscar winner is usually throwing in a pop of animal print, and here, she introduced spots in a big way, with a mid-length, leopard-print coat from La Ligne.
To pair with the statement jacket, Lawrence sported a set of flowy, black, wide-leg trousers, also from La Ligne, while slipping into a set of comfortable black clogs from Blundstone.
Finally, she accessorized with a pair of rectangular Heaven Mayhem sunglasses, while popping on a navy blue baseball cap to round things out.
Over the years, Lawrence has shown off her rich collection of baseball caps, which pay homage to everything from The Twilight Saga to Shania Twain. Here, the actor decided to show a little love to her city, as the cap was embroidered with a pink, smiley-face sun, where one of the eyes was replaced with the letters “NY.”
