Away from his TV coverage, Bill has never married but he has been linked to several women in the TV industry via his love life. One notable relationship was with actress and model Dara Tomanovich, with the couple starting to date in 2005.
The two made their first public appearance at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and then made several public appearances as a couple. Both Dara and Bill remained tight lipped about their time together, before they eventually parted ways in 2014.
Away from Dara, Bill has also been linked to his co-anchor Sandra Kaye Smith, after she joined Fox News in 2007. Away from his personal life, Bill is one of the Fox network’s lead breaking news anchors, and has provided extensive live coverage of several major stories throughout his 20 years on air, including every election cycle since 2005. He has also covered the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013, the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, as well as the Fort Hood military base shooting in 2009. In 2005, Bill traveled to England to cover the repercussions of the London terrorist attack as well as to Baton Rouge, LA to report on Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.
