New music from Eleni Foureira, Jerry Heil, MIKOLAS and more

Although we’re officially into the Eurovision 2026 season, it will still be some time before we hear any national final and Eurovision songs. Thankfully, the music will always continue and a number of Eurovision artists are still producing new songs for us to enjoy.

Citizen release new music video for ‘Halcyon Blues’

Contrary to the commonly perpetuated myth about the song contest killing careers, we’re always thrilled to report that singers associated with Eurovision are thriving.

Here is our latest weekly roundup with a selection of the songs released recently by Eurovision stars.

New music from Eurovision artists: 2025 | Week 43 part 1

With so many new songs this week, we’ve split the roundup into two smaller articles. You can find part 2 here.

Eleni Foureira – Hybrid

As she sets out on a European tour, Eleni Foureira has unveiled a brand new album for fans to enjoy both at the concerts and at home. Hybrid has 13 tracks in total, opening with pre-release single “Alleluia.” The first half of the LP includes several collaborations with music producer ARCADE that bring out Foureira’s fierce pop diva. The second half of the record maintains this but also shows other sides to Cyprus’ Eurovision 2018 silver medallist — such as on a couple of ballads.

Hadise & Murda – “Derdim”

Hadise (Eurovision 2009) returns with a new collaboration alongside fellow Turkish singer Murda. The pair have shared the catchy mid-tempo track “Derdim,” which translates to “My Problem” in English. Hadise and Murda are very clear on the sole reason behind their troubles: “Baby, my only problem is being without you / My choice is always you.”

Jerry Heil – “Earth (Dradada)”

Jerry Heil is using her newest song to highlight the work of those across Ukraine who are trying to demine the nation — 20% of the country is potentially contaminated with mines and other explosive artillery. “Earth (Dradada).” Mixing predominantly English lyrics with a Ukrainian refrain, the Eurovision 2024 star sings: “The Earth’s turning faster / Truth’s coverеd with plasters / Fakes are made for trusters / But truth is timeless blaster.”

The music video features five real-life Ukrainian women working as deminers. This modern aspect of the country’s reality is interspersed with Heil performing ancient rituals over the earth that have been done for centuries for the sake of harvest and long life.

Ermal Meta – “Io ti conosco”

“You’re all those things that I like / Puglia in summer, matches on TV, the 21st of March / And all those hugs that you miss / You don’t show them, but I know it well because I know you.”

When someone special arrives in our lives, it can feel like we’ve known them forever because they fill us with such wonder and joy. This is the sentiment that Ermal Meta captures in his latest single, “Io ti conosco” (“I know you”), which captures a euphoric atmosphere with its musical production — particularly the saxophone accompaniment. Writing about the song on social media, Italy’s Eurovision 2018 star noted:

“It happens that someone arrives and surprises us, that goes beyond the barriers we have. It happens that every gesture brings another with it and every smile covers a wound. It happens that you heal, from others, from yourself. And all those hugs you miss, you don’t show them, but I know well, because I know you.”

MIKOLAS – II

Just a year after his debut album, Czechia’s MIKOLAS is back with a sophomore record, II. Fans of the Eurovision 2018 alum will recognise previous singles “SAMBA” and “DIAMONDS,” with an additional seven songs completing the LP. Most of the new ones are mid-tempo hip hop offerings. But, the opening and closing tracks bring a more upbeat feel — the former of which comes with its own music video.

Dami Im & Kaiak – “Dancing In The Dark”

Dami Im is “Dancing In The Dark.” Australia’s Eurovision 2016 runner-up has collaborated with Swedish duo Kaiak for an emotional mid-tempo pop track — it has an almost eerie feel that’s perfect for October’s spooky season.

In the lyrics, the artists sing of how they foolishly trusted someone: “Caught up and stuck in a riddle / You let me die just a little / You got me blinded by the star / You got me dancing in the dark.”

Monokate – Половина мене

Following on from last week’s “Пахнеш,” Monokate has now released her debut solo EP. Titled Половина мене (Half of me), it features five songs in total, including two collaborations.

Whilst fans of Go_A (Eurovision 2021) will be used to hearing Monokate performing folk songs, this solo project insead veers towards an atmospheric trip hop sound. According to the Ukrainian singer, this is the kind of music she has always dreamed of sharing, but never dared to until now.

Gerard Joling, Billy Dans & Afro Boys – “Liefde In De Nacht”

“Liefde In De Nacht” (“Love In The Night”) is a song with 30 years of history, having first been released in 1994 by Nico Sanders. It’s been revitalised by three Dutch acts — Gerard Joling (Eurovision 1988), Billy Dans and Afro Boys. Joling’s inclusion maintains some of the retro pop feel of the original, whilst rap verses by Afro Boys add a new layer to the song.

The accompanying music video was filmed at Casa Rosso in Amsterdam, providing a nod to the song’s theme: the search for love at night, in the heart of the Red Light District.

Victorja feat. Chris Harms – “Allfarbe”

Victorja are an up and coming dark rock-metal group from Germany. For their latest single, “Allfarbe” (“All colour”), the band have utilised the expertise of Chris Harms, lead singer of Eurovision 2023’s Lord Of The Lost. Based on H.P. Lovecraft’s story The Colour Out of Space, the song explores varying facets of emotional horror.

The Black Mamba – Lost In London

The Black Mamba competed at Eurovision 2021 in Rotterdam. But now, they find themselves Lost In London. More specifically, they were lost in the iconic Abbey Road Studios, where they recorded the LP. The record, which celebrates the Portuguese band’s 15th anniversary, features nine live recordings of a selection of songs from the group’s previous four albums.

Kállay Saunders – “YOU”

Hungary’s Kállay Saunders has a new album in the works. The latest single from the upcoming record is “YOU.” It’s a soul-pop anthem in which the Eurovision 2014 star shares his vulnerability. Saunders sings about giving everything to a person who ultimately plays you and shatters the relationship: “She blew my money /She stole my tears / That girl done broke my heart, she broke my heart in two / I was a fool / Cuz I thought it was true / Now I’m here, swimmin’ in blues / YOU YOU YOU / I did it all for you.”

Jérémie Makiese – “Jeune Ndeko”

Jérémie Makiese also has a brand new song out this week, titled “Jeune Ndeko”. Belgium’s Eurovision 2022 representative has taken inspiration from his Congolese heritage for the single, bringing an afrobeat flavour to the rap track.

Ronnie Romero – Backbone

If you’re looking for a new classic rock album to listen to, then Ronnie Romero is here to provide. The Eurovision 2022 alum has dropped a ten track LP. It includes the two pre-release singles — “Eternally” and title track “Backbone” — along with eight other electric guitar filled offerings.

Käärijä feat. SONNY – “Vielä1”

Rapper Vesta was the focus during this week’s episode of Finnish TV show Vain elämää. Eurovision 2023 silver medallist, Käärijä, performed a cover of “Vielä1.” Produced by DJ SONNY, this new version transforms the original mid-tempo track into a more upbeat affair.

Which of these new songs is your favourite? Have we missed out on any? Do you have any artists you want to shout out to? Let us know in the comments.
