Three years after they were fired from GMA 3 over their headline-making romance, T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach are engaged. The longtime colleagues shared their happy news on the October 14 episode of their “Amy & T.J.” podcast. “We are sharing with all of you that we are engaged, and we’ve been engaged for just about a month now,” Robach said. Chimed in Holmes, “We wanted to let you all know before anybody else was able to. We’ve learned that lesson, I guess, in the past about our relationship.” The couple first made waves when their relationship was revealed in November 2022 while they were both still legally married to other people, raising questions about the timeline of their romance.

On August 26, the power couple of two years announced their happy news in a joint Instagram post featuring photos from the proposal. “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” they captioned a slideshow of photos including a close-up shot of the “Karma” singer’s massive engagement ring, which Kelce co-designed with jeweler Kindred Lubeck. According to Estate Diamond Jewelry’s Benjamin Khordipour, the rock is approximately eight carats and worth about $550K. “The ring was handcrafted in 18k yellow gold and the center diamond is set with needle point prongs that perfectly match the antique style. Smaller diamonds and hand-engravings adorn the shoulders of her setting,” the jeweler explained.

Soccer icon Cristiano Ronaldo popped the question to his long-term partner, Georgina Rodriguez, the model revealed on Instagram on August 11. She shared a photo of her massive engagement ring along with the caption, “Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives.” The couple met in 2016 while Rodriguez was working at a Gucci store in Madrid.
