The actors met in an Uber. “From the moment I met her, we were in this Uber going to see, I think, Deadpool & Wolverine,” Thames shared in a 2025 interview with PEOPLE. “And instead of it just being super, super-duper awkward for a first meeting, it was so funny and so awesome.”
“We just clicked immediately,” he added. “And ever since then, we just hung out all the time.”
