Prince Andrew isn’t going down without a fight.
The scandal-plagued royal faces increased scrutiny after the release of shocking excerpts from a posthumous memoir from Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who committed suicide at the age of 41 earlier this year.
Andrew is giving up his royal title of the Duke of York and other honours over his friendship with billionaire Jeffrey Epstein.
Due to be published Tuesday, Guiffre’s memoir alleges she was trafficked by Epstein and had sex with Andrew when she was just 17.
Now it appears King Charles is trying to force his younger brother to move out of his longtime residence, Royal Lodge, which sits on Windsor Castle’s sprawling grounds.
The disgraced royal has some demands about where he wants to move next — despite not paying rent on Royal Lodge for more than 20 years, an arrangement which stems from a 2003 deal for the mansion owned by the Crown Estate, the Royal Family’s independently run land and property holdings, according to the Sunday Times.
He also wants to protect his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, who has lived under the same roof as her ex despite their 1996 divorce.
Andrew wants Frogmore Cottage, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s home before they moved to California. And he wants nearby Adelaide Cottage, which Prince William and Princess Kate are set to be vacating, for Fergie.
“Frogmore Cottage is too small for both and Adelaide Cottage is around the corner so they will see each other whenever they want,” a source told the U.K. Sun.

“It’s incredible that they are willing to go their own separate ways,” the insider added.
“But it indicates that they have been under immense strain this year and need a break from one another. It’s a fresh start for both.”
Meanwhile, some lawmakers are pushing for the parliamentary motion needed to formally strip Andrew of his Duke of York title.
In Westminster, the centrist Liberal Democrat party, which has 72 MPs, is among those demanding the parliamentary debate.
“We need to explore all options… to ensure parliament can scrutinise this properly, from Prince Andrew’s residence at Royal Lodge to his dukedom,” a party source told AFP.
“It’s right that we’re led by the king on this, and if parliament does have to act, we hope it can be hand-in-hand with the Palace.”
Andrew has long denied any wrongdoing.
However, in 2022, he agreed to a multimillion-dollar settlement with Guiffre to end her civil sexual assault case against him.
