Sydney Sweeney Pitches Amazing Race Idea, Mike White Responds

The White Lotus star Sydney Sweeney had once asked Mike White to go on The Amazing Race with her. She wanted to compete together on the same team. The duo has been linked to more than one project, and they are joking about exploring a completely new domain together. White already had an answer to the question and explained it in a recent interview.

Sydney Sweeney seems to think that she and Mike White will make an amazing pair on a reality TV competition. The latter was in total agreement and claimed that after spending time with her, he, too, has picked up her competitive instincts. He said, “I would definitely win with her. She’s the master at getting what she wants. And I mean that in an absolutely good way” (via Variety).

Mike White is the creator of The White Lotus, and he met Sydney Sweeney in Season 1 when she was cast for a role. On the other hand, White has also appeared on The Amazing Race in seasons 14 and 18 with his father.

The creator has also expressed how an “All-Star” angle will be good for The White Lotus if it runs long enough.

As for Sweeney, she has kept busy after working with Mike White. She was cast as Olivia in Season 1 of The White Lotus, which garnered widespread praise. She also stars as Cassie Howard on the hit HBO series, Euphoria.

While talking about her return on the former show, White expressed that he would love to have her back. However, he said, “I don’t know if we could afford her now. As of now, it doesn’t look like that’s gonna happen” (via Variety).

There are other rumors of Sweeney being cast as a Bond Girl. She said she’s a “huge fan” of the franchise and is “excited and curious to see what they do with it.”
