Autograph seeker GTVReality shared a video on Instagram, detailing his tense verbal fight with Denzel Washington, which concluded with a stern warning from the two-time Oscar winner. The exchange began when the autograph-seeker approached the 70-year-old, who was sitting in a black car. The latter told the former to “get away” from him. Surprised, the latter asked, “Just like that?”
The autograph seeker then remarked, “It’s better when you’re drinking, Mr. Washington,” to which The Equalizer star responded that he had not drunk alcohol in 15 years. GTVReality did not believe Washington, claiming the latter told “a good lie.” He added, “Seriously, that’s messed up, bro.”
GTVReality tried to lighten the mood by telling the acclaimed actor that Malcolm X was his favorite film, which he saw with his mother while growing up. However, Washington appeared to ignor GTVReality’s compliment and changed the subject, asking the latter if he believed in God.
“Of course I believe in God,” GTV Reality responded. “That’s why I wake up every morning and come out and hustle, not hurt nobody.” The autograph seeker followed Washington’s car as it drove ahead, stopping simultaneously with it.
