Welcome to your Queer Weekly Horoscope, a bite-sized look at the coming days broken down by your zodiac sign.
Your Queer Weekly Horoscope for November 3-9: My Taurus rising grandmother loves to ask, “How are you stewarding your time, talent, and treasure?” The Full Moon in Taurus on November 5 reminds us that while our money, or “treasure” in this case, is one powerful resource, our time and talent are also resources that provide immense peace when stewarded well. The annual Full Moon in time, talent, and treasure pursuing Taurus inspires us to understand how we leverage these resources in order to find contentment.
I want to focus primarily on time, talent, and treasure for The Full Moon in Taurus, but I’d be remiss to say that Taurus does provide the Zodiac with a sense of contentment only when we realize that it’s gratitude which makes us joyful not joy which makes us grateful. Gratitude as a practice could almost be seen as anti-intellectual these days when we’re living in one collective trauma compounded upon another, but that’s all the more reason to consider what we’re thankful for. Let us make sure we appreciate what we have so that it helps us access joy during hard times.
And under the Full Moon in Taurus, I want you to cultivate a bit more generosity and boundaries around your time, talent, and treasure so you can feel resourced by your own decisiveness. When we know how we’re spending our most valuable renewable resources like our treasure and talent as well as our most precious nonrenewable one like our time, this is how we begin to lean on the Taurus religion of staying grounded even while the ground is moving. Without this anchor of awareness we’ll be met with some problems. With it, we’ll have more inner peace.
The next day, Venus enters Scorpio until November 30 inspiring us to see which relationships can pass the Scorpio test of truth and trust. Which relationships have the culture of safety to tell the truth and take risks? Which relationships inspire a big leap from the known to the unknown? What skills — care, competence, sincerity, and reliability — are needed to strengthen the trust in these relationships? Venus in Scorpio reminds us that trust isn’t zero-sum, but actually very subjective and reliant on skill building.
Need a moment to integrate the Taurus-Scorpio opposition? Same here! Thankfully Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius begins on November 9 and runs until November 29. Whenever Mercury retrogrades, it asks for more integration around the information you’ve identified throughout its standard non-Retrograde chapter, which is three months. Take November to integrate what’s come up for you from August 11 to November 9. You’ll get extra points if it’s Sagittarius-coded with ideas on optimism, hope, and good faith. How does a proactive vision and assumption of positive intent and regard change your behavior and possibly influence other people’s behaviors around you?
