Chris Evans and his wife, Alba Baptista, are settling into their new life as parents. Hours after reports broke of the couple secretly welcoming their first child on Friday in Massachusetts, People confirmed they had a baby girl they named Alma Grace Baptista Evans.
“Alma” means “soul” in Portuguese (and Spanish), a sweet nod to the 28-year-old Portuguese actress’s roots. Baptista’s first language is Portuguese, and she also speaks Spanish, French, German, and English.
A source detailed how she and Evans are doing, saying the couple is “enjoying their privacy and these special first few days as a family with their baby.”
