She then picked up the cake and tried to chuck it at a suit-clad man wearing a headset, but she missed, and it ended up on the floor.

The singer laughed as a few of her dancers approached the demolished dessert, bent down and scooped up some bites to try.
A “genuinely confused and upset” X user, who claims — perhaps somewhat sarcastically — that her mother baked the cake, posted the video and criticized Perry for her behavior.
“my mom was the one that baked this cake, she was so excited about the opportunity to make a cake for Katy Perry and spent so long on it, im genuinely confused and upset as to why she would do this,” the X user shared, prompting furious fans to weigh in.
