However, Winslet exited earlier this year for creative reasons, with Danes stepping into the lead role shortly after.
According to Deadline, the series follows a successful surgeon (played by Danes) and her schoolteacher husband (played by McGregor) who begin to suspect that she might be responsible for a child’s hit-and-run death.
