Disturbing new details have emerged following the death of Limp Bizkit founding member Sam Rivers.
Rivers, 48, was found dead in his Florida home back on Oct. 18, and TMZ said it obtained the incident report from the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Department. Per the outlet, the report said that a caller named Keely said she found Rivers lying face down in a pool of blood in his bathroom.
TMZ said the report makes it sound as though Rivers fell off the toilet.
The caller became emotional as she attempted CPR, according to the report, and when a deputy arrived they also performed CPR until the St. Johns County Fire Rescue arrive and pronounced Rivers dead.
The deputy said that Rivers’ face and neck were dark blue, per TMZ, and that the rest of his body was flush. TMZ said the report noted that was a common occurrence in pulmonary embolism.
Keely reportedly told officers that Rives had a liver transplant in 2018 and was taking medication for his liver.
Rivers was a bassist and backup vocalist for Limp Bizkit.
