Originally released in 2005 via Ipecac Recordings/Radio Surgery, The Locust‘s Safety Second, Body Last served as the chaotic follow-up to Plague Soundscapes.
The EP was conceived as a single 10-minute composition split into two tracks, each divided into multiple movements, “Armless and Overactive/Invented Organs”.
The well-recognized cover art is, titled “Treatment,” was created by Neil Burke (Men’s Recovery Project), while the newly revisited video was directed and edited by Luis Niemann, which you can view below.
