SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — While Yorgos Lanthimos’ newest movie “Bugonia” isn’t hitting theaters until Friday, fans watched a special early screening on Monday with one condition—going bald.

Starring both Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons, “Bugonia” is about two conspiracy theory obsessed men who kidnap a high-profile CEO (played by Stone) after believing she is an alien attempting to destroy Earth.

During the events of the film, Stone’s character has her head shaven—Focus Features’ marketing is encouraging fans to do the same.

Bald or willing to go bald moviegoers received priority seating at an early screening at Edwards Mira Mesa.

A barber was present to shave fans’ heads if they wanted priority entry.

“The screening will have priority seating specifically for those who are bald… or brave enough to go bald for entry,” marketing material for the movie states.
