Kelly Clarkson gave fans a treat on Halloween with a special Kellyoke segment on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
The American Idol winner chose an underrated yet classic Madonna song to cover. Dressed in a retro-chic ’30s costume, Clarkson stunned as she belted out Madonna’s “Sooner or Later.”
Madonna fans will recall that the song is from her “I’m Breathless” album, which was released in 1990. It was also featured in the Dick Tracy movie.
Clarkson put her own signature twist on the song, and it should surprise no one that she hit it out of the park. Seriously, is there anything she can’t sing and make it look like the easiest thing in the world?
The Voice alum oozed a jazzy, soulful style from a completely different era. Fans flocked to the YouTube video on The Kelly Clarkson Show channel to gush over the performance.
