WORCESTER, Mass. – Carson Golder scored a pair of goals as the red-hot Royals skated to a 5-1 win over Worcester on Saturday at DCU Center.
Massimo Rizzo, Brandon Saigeon and Sawyer Boulton also scored as Reading raced to a 3-0 lead and never looked back. Vinnie Purpura stopped 25 of the 26 shots he faced.
The unbeaten Royals complete a seven-game road trip on Monday at Maine.
